  1. No you cannot – most images revealed by a google search will be copyright.

  2. No, you would have to have the express permission of the owner of the copyright or the person who is in the photo to use any pictures found on the internet for promotional purposes. Otherwise you could get sued.

  3. No they are copyrighted. You can go to a photostock company to get photos for things like that. They have online ones. You just pay per download.

  4. No you’re not able to and as you’ve have guessed, it is illegal. Photos in the internet whether public or private are for your eyes only and shouldn’t be used by any individual other than the sole owner for his or her own gain. If caught, you will be liable for damages and lawsuits.

  5. The answer is no as stateted by others. You could contact the photographer of the image you want and ask him what you can negotiate for usage rights. You could always go to an image bank and purchase usage rights but they also negotiate even more on how and where you will use it and how long etc.

  6. Phoenix, everyone answered correctly. My question to you is what are you promoting? Is it for something charitable? Give me some info and if I find it to be a worthy cause I’ll work something out with you on usage of a photo but trust me pros take this very seriously.
