Have you tried searching for your ancestor’s name in the search engines?
I know that google, as a company, has gone way helpful by indexing family, surname, and genealogy websites. Remembering that each search engine cannot index the entire WWW, are there other search engines that seem to be particularly helpful in finding names of ancestors (aside from genealogy specific sites)?
If yes, which search engines?
