You might want to try netvue. Actually I have not used it, but according to the links below it may be useful for your purposes. However, please note that this information is old and it could be outdated.
Another thing you can try is to search using significant keywords, like dates, events or places, e.g., I could search for “olympics 1968″ or “olympics Nagano,” etc.
