I believe what you have is a malicious code or spyware known as a hijacker. Its usual symptoms are the following:
1. When you visit a fairly popular website, you get routed to a totally unheard of search engine. Usually happens in advanced cases of computer infection.
2. In advanced cases of having a browser hijacker, your homepage gets defaulted to one of the search engines you described.
3. Before you scan your computer, start Windows in Safe mode by pressing the function key, F8, repeatedly. Once Safe mode is loaded, scan the computer.
